Via 313 started with a simple but powerful idea: bring the legendary taste of Detroit-style pizza to Texas. What began as a small trailer operation has grown into a beloved institution across the Lone Star State.
The name "313" is the area code for Detroit, Michigan — a nod to the city that gave birth to the square, airy, crispy-edged pizza style we've made our signature. Our founders grew up eating this style of pizza and knew the world needed more of it.

The Trailer Days Begin
Via 313 launches as a mobile trailer operation in Austin, TX. The response is immediate — long lines, rave reviews, and a city discovering Detroit-style pizza for the first time.
First Brick-and-Mortar Location
We open our first permanent restaurant location in Austin, bringing the full Via 313 experience indoors with an expanded menu and warm, welcoming space.
Texas Monthly Award
Via 313 is recognized by Texas Monthly as one of the best pizza restaurants in Texas, putting our Detroit-style pies on the map statewide and drawing fans from across the region.
Expansion & Growth
A second Austin location opens, doubling our capacity and welcoming thousands of new pizza fans. Our team grows and our menu evolves with exciting new seasonal offerings.
Cedar Park Opens
Via 313 arrives in Cedar Park at 1335 E Whitestone Blvd — our newest full-service location bringing authentic via 313 pizza to the north Austin suburbs with full dine-in and delivery.
